if you have acess to a lathe use chrysler 340 valves. they are 1.6 but can be turned down with little effort.a little long at 5.075 but that can be made up by shimming the spring to get the installed height where it needs to be.they are also the right stem diameter. i used some valves from an a-460 bbf head last summer on a popane head for an h.a little work on the lathe and all was good! hope this helps you out.
