I HEAR THAT THURSDAY EVENING IS POSSIBLY THE FINAL VOTE TO MOVE THE CLUB? I ALSO DO BELIEVE THAT THERE IS ALOT OF BUZZ TO TO CHANGE SOME RULES AROUND AS WELL.SOUNDS LIKE EVERYONE NEEDS TO COME OUT AND CAST THEIR VOTES OR SUGGESTIONS AND IDEAS.

if they are going to move. i think there shouldn't be any change in the rules other then in div 2 speed limit should be 3mph. and div 3&4 newer tractors.

Oh they're sure. Kinda seemed to have it decided way ahead of time from what I heard at the mtg. It will be a real shame to loose such a good track. I hope this all works out as we all had alot of great years at Portersville. I guess pulling is about making money after all.

don't get mad at me but.
if you want to have a club to pull at it has to make money or it's not going to be there. simple fact it takes money to paid for it.no money no club. the club wasn't going to grow any more at portersville just get smaller = less $

Its a pulling club, make enough money to cover the expenses we have, have some extra to cover repairs and thats it, we dont pay out, the club doesnt even pay the for meal at the banquet, so what's the point of now turning more money? I hope the move does bring more pullers, but do you really think that the move will do that? we arent moving that far. Time will tell. I am biased because the club is nearly soley antique pullers, this farm stock, hot stock, idea and a longer track sounds like a good idea to have at the fairgrounds. I think that we should have tried both places for year, keep antiques on the good track and let the big stuff run the long track. Hey whatever, we got outvoted and that was it. see ya in the spring.

Crap.
What does this do for the King of the Mountain pull? Been sinking some large dollars into a tractor for that pull and hoping I don't have to haul this thing clear down to Tenn. to pull their King of the Hill pull just to be able to find out whta this thing will do.

If the Steam Show wants it, the King of the Mountain will still happen, but it may be run by a different pulling club.

RCP you know darn well that it was decided to try and work with the steam show for the pulls they have, even though we are moving. Well maybe I wasn't at the same meeting as you.

You need to read my post, I didn't say it wouldn't happen, I said it was up to the Steam Show board.
