Have a Farmall M that i would like to put duals on for parades. I have several sets of pressed steel rims that I can use, but i need a 9 bolt hub. I know the axle diameter is the same, but do you have to modify the keyway at all? Or will they bolt right on. My friend has a set he will give me if they will work.

When the 44 came out, the local massey dealer challenged my uncle to a demonstration plow match. It was his Farmall MD vs their new 44. As soon as they dropped the plows in the ground the hub on the massey broke. That is all I have to say..... .

if you pull 5500 or less id saw youd be fine, if your a heavy puller find a set of m&w hubs with the triple u bolts. i broke one last year at 5500 lbs with 18.4's and a wet clay track, running tall gears. pop'd it coming out of the hole getn tires spinning

They work just fine until they break. I"ve seen a couple sets break and have heard of several. These were on pulling tractors and just had pressed steel rims to lighten it up.
