well just got my new rims and put on a set of firestone deep tread on them and ready to pull it to see what it will do. sound real good.

1950 jd g 15.5 tires on 14" rims 6500lb to 7500lb. dont think theres enough power for more than that stock.

i think i know you if you got a red ford truck your tractor sounds like it has plenty of power i think all you needed was some traction because you spin to much. i hope the new tires helps you good luck

Well, if your G is "pumped a little" with gas pistons, a little (.150-.200 in.) shaved off the head and some tuning tricks applied, it ought to be able to turn those tires in second on an average track and real decent in low on any power track @ 7500 lbs. If the G is still stock but in good shape it can turn those tires okay in low at 6500 lbs. Gotta have the G running good or you'll be embarrassed off the edge of the earth. There's a lot of competition at these weights so get ready for a learning experience.
