any way to use 706 3 3/4 pistons in h block with stock rods

WHOOPS! at 5 inch stroke brings em up to the top with .020 left over on the pistons. thats .375 offset for a 5 inch stroke, (.750 total stroker) if no piston mods were done,, the offset would be .335 to be a drop in. (.670) increase in total stroke. sorry, had a bad pencil in the other post. LOL! ChadS [email protected]

add .480 stroke,, (.240 offset) that will bring the 706 piston up to TDC and not have to cut the piston. over that, and your cutting the piston to fit up inside the head. you can use 350 rods do nothing to the wrist pins. 706 pistons are OK choice,, 3.75 bore,,, but the larger piston for the 301 can be bought cheaper than the 706 pistons. JMHO,,,, you will have to do some light block clearence work, notch the cam lobes, and the cam side of the rods and it will clear. not bad to build,,, with patience.
