Want to run 16.9 x 34 tires on a UTS Moline. Shooting for the 5500# plus classes in div. 2. I have turned down my stock hubs for 9 bolt wheels. Would like to know what you guys think is the best width rim for these. I have a set of 16" wide steel wheels I bought to run 18.4 x 34's, but decided to run a lower weight class as the motor is stock. Are these too wide? What should I run? Any advice would be much appreciated as I am new to pulling.

Dan - Well if you are going to run a true Div. 2 class, the rules say the widest rim is the one printed on the side of the tire. Every 16.9X34 tire I have says 15 inch rim right on the tire. You had better look at your tires to be sure.

Hope this helps

use the largest possible tire that the rules state, also the 16 inch rims will work great with the 16.9 tires
