I would like to get into lawn mower pulling but have no idea what to do first. I would like to find someone local in Central NY to find out what rules and regs there are before I get started. If anyone has a place to go and get answers on line or have a club in the CNY area great. I sure could use all the help before I put something together and am told that it can't pull in their event. I don't want to make this a full time event but if it becomes as enjoyable as watching then who knows. Anyways thanks for any advise I can get.

Hal Monel used to pull an Oliver 66 until some guy with way too much money decided he needed it more than Hal did. Since, Hal has been pulling lawn mowers. At one time last summer he was leading four classes with his machine. He is definitely one of the best on any track anywhere. Hal lives in the Weedsport area. Sorry I do not have a phone number. Phil think a Allis b engine will fit in a Cub frame? Now I'd like to see that. I have a picture I took this summer that I have to show you. I know you'll want one. I didn't hear from you over the holidays. Thought maybe you'd be home. Hope your holidays were good. I'll send that picture over if I remember this evening. Good to see your still alive.
