Email if you wish! Id have a look at the carb you have now,,,,, see which venturi it already has. If its under a 27,, then you can bore them out in a lathe with patience. Your looking for a 33 for a 291. Older 560 carbs can be made to run,,, but it might be a little off on the idle side,,,, might run a little rich on idle,,,,, but you can open up the jet size quite a bit actually, if it has the elctric shut off, replace it with a metering screw from like a M or something. So you can dial it in. But usually, I open up a 6 cyl main jet almost 10 sizes larger from stock just to see a hint of black smoke,,,, I can report back to the exact bit size I have best luck with. An electric fuel pump is almost a must. Make sure the passages are cleaned out inside the carb. have you ran a cyl pressure test? (compression test) remove the spark plugs, open up the throttle all the way, and crank the engine a few times, recored the results. If any of em are more than 15 psi off from each other,, you better have a closer look. If you want to, report back with the carb part number,,, its on a small disk, riveted to the carb flange,, you may have the good carb already and just need to dial it in. ChadS [email protected]
