Has anybody in Indiana have 301 block that they would like to sell? I hate to use a 263 but I will if no luck finding a 301. ChadS, I may need your help with a copper gasket for this project. I don't think a stock head gasket will do the job past .060 over 806 pistons. Thanks.

Where in Indiana are you at? Anyways, there is a fella that lives close by, that usually have 10-15 RUNNING IH combines that they scrap out / part out. I know you would find sleeveless 263 all day long,,,,, and might be a 301 out there! Ill ask him see whats there. Bout 5 minutes east of Rochester Indiana on st rd 14, then south 3 miles on this here road that,, used to have an old lawn mower shop on the corner,,,,, its not there anymore,,,, actually, there is a White/Oliver dealership still in business that have alot of stuff still for the old ollies!! Old stock parts. so if you turn the wrong direction,,, and past the oliver place, you went the wrong way! I have the copper gasket for the 301, just need your final specs, and try to keep the gasket thicker,,, thinner gaskets dont hold the heat as well, and can burn the sealer off too soon and leak. Donnie, I have a sleeveless 263 out of a late 403 combine. ran good 2 years ago. Was a local combine, and he upgraded to a 715. Tell me what you want off it or if you want the whole thing! Chad [email protected]
