Does anybody know if i have to have a john deere rim to fit my 38 inch center or can i use any make of rim.

The ones off my Farmall M just fit on my John Deere G. No problem.

Those rims were made by either Goodyear, or Goodrich. Pretty much all the same whether it is painted yellow and on a Deere, or silver and on an IH or Case.

jesse. Any DROP CENTER rim will work on your B as long as it is a 38 inch rim. I guess there are 36 inch as well but finding 36 inch tires is a bit more work and money. There are also rims known as DOUBLE BEVEL rims that came out on later tractors like the JD 60 and 70 that WILL NOT work on you B cast centers. If you find DROP CENTER rims, that are 38 inch, you should be good to go. Hope this helps.
