I must be thinking of a 620 and the A pistons then,,, one of the two is a shorter block. Yeah, the difference in the 70 and the G was quite a bit,,, Had to remove some material off the pistons so it all fit inside. Bad thing is, if its low gear pulling, he may end up being too strong if he really hops it up due to the creeper 1st gear.. A few miles away, a fellow has a real nice 60, he pulls low gear up to 6500 with it, and it just creeps along and creeps along, but never heard it run out of power,, Thinking it was just a .045 kit in it. At one time, I had a power block and pistons for a late A-60,, bought it from Polk himself, while he was auctioneering at a local sale. Got it for 50 bucks,,, he said, Merry Christmas!!! I said, Thanks Santa!! I traded it to another fella who was putting together an earlier A,,, a 47 I belive, wouldnt fit, so he set it aside and never used it. Wonder if its still there?? Are new ring sets avaialble for power block pistons?? Long time ago I asked Hastings,,, they said they could make em,,,
