A ONCE POPULAR SPECTATOR SPORT OF TRACTOR PULLING IN THE 1980"S MADE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE LEADERSHIP OF SHELLY SWIFT, IS RETURNING TO THE SOUTHEASTERN LIVESTOCK PAVILON FEBRUARY 8 AND 9,2008 .THE FRIDAY EVENING SESSION WILL START
AT 6 P.M. WITH PROGAM RECOGNITION OF SHELLY SWIFT PAST CONTRIBUTIONS.THE SATURDAY SESSION WILL START AT 5 P.M. RECOGNIZING JUNIOR HYDE WHO HAS BEEN PULLLING SINCE 1952.A RECORD CROWD OF 4,500 IS EXPECTED FOR EACH EVENING;THE LARGEST OF ITS KIND OF ANY TRACTOR PULLING EVENT IN FLORIDA.THE STAGE IS SET FOR GARDEN TRACTORS,ANTIQUE AND MODERN FARM TRACTORS,V-8 MODIFICATIONS,TURBO ,2 AND 4WD PICKUP CLASSES TO PARTICIPATE.TWO 3 ENGINE TRACTORS ARE SLATED TO APPEAR FOR EXHIBITION PULLS.
