Want to add some hp to a stock engine,any suggestions would be appreciated, new to the sport thanks

There are alot of thnigs to add power.
You can take off the governer housing plate and tighten up that spring(that will give you more RPMs. Also some guys use a 450-400 LP manifoild(bigger ports..more air. A 8060 head is a high compression head and check if your tractor has one its what you want for more power..there are also more casting numbers on heads that you can look for that give you more power. And some guys run a k&n air filter off the carb, and some use a petronix coil and dist. stuff. If you want to get in the engine just let me know and ill tell ya about that
