Resleeving U jugs

How big can a U moline jug be sleeved and hard blocked? Can they go to 5.5? Want to stay with short blocks and offset grind a 6" crank to U rod journal size. Anyone ever built a motor similar to this that can give me some insight? Thanks in advance.

5.75" from Henderson power. I've seen a set run for years with literally hundreds of hooks. Never any problems. Always winning too. They run water through them. He also stands by his work. Good fella.

I make solid jugs in both alum. and in cast. They don't leak, and with a press in sleeve can be repaired. Have done them 5.75 and I think there is room to go to 6

You might want to check with some pullers that are running "5.75" and it wont leak" blocks. The ones I've talked to are having some water leaking problems.

Just because you cant seal something does not mean it cant be done. Your attitude is starting to remind me of a person that completely ruins something out of stupidity, and then gets mad and pitched a fit when it can't be warrentied.
