I have a MF50LP. If you can get it cheap or for next to nothing, they make excellent chore tractors. Put a shredder on it and make money mowing commercial and residential lots for land owners and developers in your area. There is good money in that for a person your age. MF50's & MH50's are very good for that with their live pto and three point. Use that money to maintain the work tractor and play with your tractor pulling. I do that kind of stuff to support my other tractor stuff. They are heavy on the front with the wide front end and require a good amount of weight on the rear to get them to pull. As was suggested in one of your other threads, play with what you got for a little while and go up the Farmall line if your a Farmall person. The B, C, H, M, make better pullers than a Ferguson 50. That Ferguson 50 can work to support your hobby habit. That is what I do with my MF50LP and a 2600 Ford diesel and I restore & pull John Deere (tinker with others things as well). Just a thought and my $.02. Glad to here you are playing with old iron.
