Is this procedure similiar to putting in the 400 series motor??? Does anyone know the weight difference between the 300 series and 400 series long blocks----I"d guess 200 to 250 lbs??? , broke a caster wheel on an engine puller moving a 414 short block last week on concrete!!!

art to put a 300 series 312/360 or a 400 series engine in the 560 will be virtually the same. You will use the same back plate and the flywheel Should be the same for either. the 300 series is lighter secondary to lenth and deck height difference. the 300 series is considered the 400 series sister engine.
