The 312 and 360 are the baby IH engines they were in the 666 and 766. They look like the 414,436 and 466 but just a little smaller.

414,436,466 are all basicly the same block, most of the cubic inch difference is in the stroke they are international engines put in the 66 an 86 series. 361 was in the 806 and 1206, american made. 407 was the 856- 1456, american made. I believe the 310 and 358 are german diesels used in 706,756, and 826. Not sure about the 312 and 360, 360 in smaller 66 series like 766. Lee

Im not an expert on how those motors bolt up, but I do know that the bell housings on just about all the tractors from the M to the 1586 have the same bell housing bolt pattern. I think all of those motors will swap by exchanging some parts, mainly rear engine plates. Dont quote me on that, but i think that it is right.
