i dont pull a wc i have a wd but i thought the advantage of the sherman box was it basically gave a selection of four more gears to select from. which still seams to be an advantage over the corn picker or rc rear. allis geared tractors to run 2.5 mile an hour in first gear when the rpms were raised the gearing went down to stay at 2.5 mile an hour

you would like a 5tooth pinon gear better,or a `RC` rear end better. there is a better set up, but nobody is going to tell ya what it is.

the `RC`pinon gear is a 5 tooth, but the 5 tooth pinon for the `WC`is stronger becouse it has a bearing support on the nose where as the `RC`s dont, they made the 5 tooth for the `WC` to use with a corn picker. go to the dealer and talk them in to giving you a blue-print for it, and get one made. I pull 6500 in second gear with 18.4s on good clay track, and spin out

I`m thinking the only place you will find a sherman is on a road grader, the M&W box is realy rare
