How do i get a little more power out of my SH without getting into boring or stroking it? What can be done w/ the stock gas head?

I think you should have the head looked at. Almost all the power in a motor is in the head, manifold and in the camshaft design. You can build a bullet proof bottom end but it won't run good if the top haf is not done right.

Shave a little off the head and have Berry Cam Service make you a puller cam for your compression and rpm. I used LP heads and a Berry cam and pumped my low-tech engine right up inexpensively.

Thank you very much....And by the way, if you dont have anything going this weekend, you should come out to our cement pull Saturday. It will be a good time. And I'm glad to see that we had such a good turnout Sunday and that you had such a good time. It is usually fun. Hope that you come back for our pulls next year.
