chad i have a question? what if any is the diffrence between the m carb and a super m carb

Ive seen SM's have the same carb as the Ms did, and Ive seen SMTA's have the later carbs with the idle screw in the flange. Now Im not saying they were stock on there, but, the two MTSA i saw have em, were local tractors, that have been around this area since new. If it has the idle screw in the lower portion of the throttle body, (big brass screw for the idle adjuster) not much difference in the basic casting, might be jetted differently, and the SM should have a #27 venturi when the M's had a 25. The later carbs, yeah, thers a difference.... Hope this helps a bit. Chad
