I was at a pull in Canada just over the NY border and witnessed the rear axle of a MF 95 Super(MM GVI) breaking at the hub. The tractor was just starting out in the 10,000lb. class and the wheel went right up into the fender as the tractor dropped. As it turns out there had been a break for a while....only about 1/3 of the break was shiny. Luckily the owner didn't have his left hand any where near the outside of the fender and that it actually had fenders to keep the wheel from coming in towards the seat! Just thought I would pass this along..... .be carefull out there..sometimes you have defective parts and don't even know it!

Was it a factory weld or a weld to alter the hubs?
