This Saturday was an excellent day. The club seperated the Div II and IV tractors which made a world of difference to us antique only pullers.

Excellent job !!

The only way to change things in a club like this is to attend the meetings. I have been remiss in attending but sure do plan on changing that. I would love to see the Thrusday night antique ONLY pull back again. I am not sure what the horse pull is all about.

The horse pull replaced the true antique pull due to poor turnout. After seeing the number of horse teams and spectators I don't expect it to go away next year. I won't really mind though if we can get the club to keep the NATPA style rules, Made the pulling a bit more competetive and fun...

I used to bring 2 tractors every year, yes my 770 was one of them. About 4 years ago, I pulled in the 5500 and was in the 3 spot... then the last tractor pulled. It was a pro farm with a very popular last name. I went to man running the track...You know, he used to pull with the pro farm tractors too... I said what gives, he said too bad...That's when I quit going. How many per class??? I know they used to have a good 35 hooks per class in the 4500-5500???

There were about 9 or ten tractors in the 5500 enhanced. some guys were definitely not happy that their "stock" tractors had to pull in the enhanced class. It was good to see the pull run with a better sled for the little guys, and some true tech and rules... Now if we could just get them to send those damn garden tractors off on a different day...
