how much weight do aluminum rims save

my tractor weights 5250 with me on it wondering if aluminum rims all the way around will get me into 4500. im useing 18/9/38 20inces wide rear. any ideas. oliver 770 tractor. thanks.

A 20"x 38" aluminum rim will weight around 120# less than a steel equivalent.

I used to pull and 880 in the 4500 lbs class and i weigh 230 olivers can cut weight like no other tractor

This is only a guess on my part but with that tire size I would be suprised if aluminum wheels all the way around would save over 150 lbs. Only a guess!!!

i weight 180 thats what it weights iv got presed steel wheels all the way around. got a motor in mine that prolly has alitte more horse than yours. So what do the aluminum weight compared to steel?

My 770 with wide front, pressed steel and full hydraulics with the flat top fenders....4550 with me on the seat. You weigh what????

That 770 should be 4500 easy. What do you weigh, 700lbs?
