We just had our pull at Prairie Village that The Shellum bros., myself and some others put on. I helped at the scale after I was done pulling and could not believe all the people who have been pulling all summer with hitches 1 to 1.5 inches high! My idea is to start giving out tape measures along with an instruction sheet! Other ideas are cd's on how to read (ie;rules) and hearing aids!! These boneheads all made their hitches to go up to 18" or 20" depending on the class but they can't lower them!!

I hope everyone gets a new electric door planer so that everyone can now run top cut tires and end the "its too road worn" or "it looks machined". I would reccomend the DeWalt brand seems to hold up well.

How about giving out some Cheese to go with there whine.
I pulled against a tractor a couple weeks ago that had his hitch at 20 and we were supposed to be 18, so i just raised mine up, kinda funny we were a lot closer to each other then we used to be. And i have hooked agianst him before, just leads me to believe the the guys checking hitch height dont care what class the tractor is in, they just go off what the driver tells them. thats why there should be one height like USAP does. And ifs its over you either lower it or dont pull. that would make everybodys life simple and should cut down on the whinning.
just a thought

I did almost all the prelim hitch and weight inspections at our Michigan Shootout pull (Thanks to the Ringle crew, again, for assisting me) and I was pretty happy to see everyone within 1/2 an inch or so. I adjusted alot of them, and they prettymuch stayed that way. Good feeling to have honest competition.
