Saw a model A deere at Roberts WI first pull that looked like a G with fenders. Anyone know whose it was an how he did that?

RMK, Are you sure it was an A, or was it a G with an A front end, I have seen several unstlyed G's where they have done this swap. At first glance they look like A's, but closer looking reveals the swap.

No because it was a styled A that someone did a lots of work to make it look like a G. it had a wide front and late model fenders to.

His name is Tony Hellstern, from Turtle Lake WI. Yeah, he did extensive work to make it look that way. Filled in all the holes on top of the hood, and made a whole new radiator top to bring the pipes out on the sides of the top of the hood like a G. He did do an awfully nice job!

Thats his tractor? What did he do with the A he used to pull? Anyy chance its for sale because it always pulled realy good and i havent seen it in awhile
