Hey guys back again does anyone know if I was to use a 5.80 stroke with a D19 connecting rod and a big block 4.600 bore piston if this would be a good combo any help that you could gie is apricated also does anyone know the piston pin diameter on the D19 rod what and does anyone know where I can get a header for it a bigger carb and a Electronic ignition. Thanks

Barney Taylors number is1-937-368-2447. heres what to order from him . 4 5/8 sleeves and pistons ,copper 4 5/8 head gasket , camshaft and valve springs and keepers. trust me theres enough aggrevation in building this engine that spending the money for all these parts at one location is the easiest youll do.

the rod pin is alittle bigger than 1 inch bbchevy is .997 therse a bushing from federal mogal to adapt to bbc . pin height on piston needs to be 1.8 to 2.0 .and thats a custom hieght for a bbc .440 mopars have the correct pin size and pin hieght. if i remember correctly either way its custom pistons.if you want compression.

a guy in kentucky makes a header . a usx 20 series carb came on 1600 series olivers and 4010johns. petronix pickup from yt tractor msd 6 box and blaster2 coil from any parts house ngk -8 plugs msd helicoil wires 110 racegas blackand decker battery powered leaf blower. a starter upgrade from me . hp32 car quest battery 1/0 battery cables and it should start. barney taylor has the pistons and sleeves for 4 5/8 bore to fit the rods you asked to use he sells
