lightweight turbo class????????

After watching the big diesels pull @ buffalo county fair and wishing a had one. Then the dollar signs and hualing around that amount of weight tractor plus wieghts puts a bad taste in my mouth. Why not put a turbo on a wc and inject alcohol and really spin those skins. I been dreaming of a turbo class 300ci or 310ci and 4500 to 5500 or 6000 class. 3" turbo in/out any fuel gas/alcohol/diesel. Does any of your clubs have a class like this and what are your thoiughts.

I am pulling a 300cid M that is turbocharged. I run 18.4"s pulling 4th gear turning it 4200RPM. I am running a WH1E Holset blowing through a gasoline Holley carb.

hi farmersands.i happen to run a tractor that fits your description.it is in the photo ads, for sale, under international/farmall460.i pull in the northeast[ct.ri,nh,vt]and have done very well.it started life as a 460 farmall.i run hilborn mechanical fuel injection on alcohol.i also have it turbocharged with 1 holset 4le turbo.in ct i have to run against single v-8 big block modifieds.when i run else where,i run in an open class,no rpm limit but has to be ag block and no v-8s.the tractor has been a learning experence,but is fun to pull.it only weighs 5040lb w/driver.i would like to see more clubs add a class for tractors like mine.there are a few up here in the northeast. wayne's world
