Does anyone know of a book that lists the original tire sizes that came on the various makes and series of tractors? Our antique tractor club has a tire rule and we don't always know what size tire came on a given tractor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Weldin man

Just put a limit on tire size and through the classes and that makes it fair for all tractors and or the wheels. Make the puller provide the proof for wheel type and size from their owners manual.

Keep in mind that the data there is not 100%. I have looked at the entire Massey Ferguson line for 1976 comparing it to the machinery guide that they provided. The tire sizes listed are only sizes that were submitted. The model 2805 came with 4 options, they only have one listed which is not the standard according to the book. It also depends on if it was fitted with the long or entended axles. I see this with all of the models.

I agree Tractor Data.com is no where near complete enough for what I need and it's just too expensive to buy manuals for all the different tractors that pull. Thanks Again

I pull a IH 400 and I've seen different STOCK tire sizes listed for it, so I can't tell what is stock for my own tractor. Different years, publications will list different tires.

Most pulls do a max tire size for the different weights (which can be argued about when making the rules). Sometimes a max tire square inch on ground will make allowances for some of the odd sized tires out there, especially in the smaller tractors, 24, 26, 28 or even 38 inch diameter pulling in the same class.

Why cant your club make it easy on yourselves and make a tire size limit for a class?? That is a lot more fair than one tractor being allowed to run a larger tire than another tractor in the same class just because the factory offered it as an option.
