I used to think that if you were getting your butt kicked pulling, you worked on your tractor, did a better job of driving, reading the track or weighting your tractor better.

I also used to think that there couldn't possible be as much whinnnning and complaining in open classes as there was in the farm and stock classes. (perhaps we can do a survey on the worst crybaby story some other time).

I've seen the light!!! You don't need to do a better job of driving or build a better tractor, just make anyone who has a better tractor than you pull exhibition! Whatever happened to run what you brung and hope you brung enough? We have a couple of guys who have enough guts to hook 'em up and let the dirt fly, but the ones who are crying the hardest are the same ones who have been kicking my butt for the longest time.
