My son has been pestering me for along time to pull so he got his chance Sunday. Other 10year olds have pulled so I finally let him even though I thought he was a little young. he has driven small tractors at home for a while raking ect. so he knows how to run a hand clutch on my sc. I let him pull my old dc I pulled since 87 and the lucky kid got 2nd in 5500 and won the 6500# 3.5 mph class! We have realized we need to get kids interested or by 14 or 15 other interests will win out.

My 12 year old grandson won the #3500 class in the Broadbeck seeds TSAPP [Tii-State Antique Points Pullers] last year. There will be a write-up about the series in the July Hook magazine.

Congratulations to the boy!! My daughter first hooked the sled when she was 11 years old! We're pulling this weekend, she'll be hooking the Farmall 460 in the #5500 and #6500 stock tractor classes. This will be her 10th year pulling! Don
