Hey guys, Im going to build a pulling Farmall M.
I have herd good and bad about welded rods. I dont plan to run over 20% on rpms. What is the best type of rod, and where can I find them. Thanks for any advice.

Murphys motor service has Farmall M rods check them out

The only problem with his rods is that you also need his crank. I checked into them and for a custom rod to fit a factory crank he was estimating $15-1800. You can get his crank and rods for a little more than that.

He is great to deal with. Great service and quality from my experience.
