A friend of mine made me some 30 pound suitcase weights. They're the same as an International 90 pounder with the big handle. They're laser cut so no rough edges, 1/2 inch thick, so 4 will fit in about the same space as 1 90 pounder.

He'll make them any weight you want, the 30 pounders cost $22.50. My e-mail is open, if anyone is interested, I will get them in touch with him. My back just won't take the 100 pounders anymore.

Here are a couple of pictures of them, if we did it right. If not, go to HELP IDENTIFY on the left of the page under GALLERIES and view them there.

Jim

I've done the same thing with IH wheel weights. I put together a blueprint of the shape of the weight, outer diameter and inside shape and they transfered it into there computer controled torch. Out of 1/4 inch plate they weigh 33 lbs. All I do is drill the four holes. It's a great way to get as close as possible to the right weight in stock pulling. Did the same thing for front weights too.

Correction: Just talked to my friend again and we had a misunderstanding about the price. He said it's $1.50/lb. That makes my 30 pounders $45.00. Other weights will vary.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. If anyone is interested, just e-mail me and I will get you in touch with him.

Jim

I only know how to put one picture per message. Sorry, but I'm learning, just slowly.

Well I guess I don't quite know how to do the picture thing. If you go to your left and scroll down to HELP IDENTIFY they are on there. Maybe someone who does know can get them on here.

We're at Baldwin Ks., that is in eastern Ks. about a hour from Kansas City. the ZIP is 66006

They really are nice to handle.

Jim
