Well, after last weekend, the wife said she'd like to maybe try pulling, cause it looks like fun. One problem, though. She's never driven anything but a car and truck before, and she can't drive a stick. But, I got her on the 44 today for the first time, and she took to it like a duck in water! Other than one small "incident" involving drifting back into a truck,(no damage, though), she did great. I even had her load it on the trailer and chain it down. I figured she should experience all the areas of this wonderful hobby. And, it was funny watching her trying to pull a snap-binder tight. I had to step in and help with that one. She had a blast and she wants to drive it some more and get used to it. I can't wait until she pulls a sled for the first time.

I recently bought another tractor, a farmall H. The ol' lady was hot. The wheels in my head started turning so I figured I'd make her feel bad so I told her I bought for her. We took it to the pull last saturday. She didn't pull it because she didn't know how to operate it. My nephew pulled it and took 3rd in the 4000 lb class. Afetr the pull she wanted to learn how to drive it because she wants to pull next month. When I came home from work today she driving down our dirt road to go check the mail. She loves it. And yes, she felt bad about giving me grief so she is letting me get a Super C at the end of the month. She even gave me the money for it.
