Your saying you have 2 filters right? Make sure the vent hole in the gas cap is open so it does not back build inside the tank. If the vent plugs, the gravity flow will decrease, which usually can hurt fuel systems with an inline filter. What I usually do, is I buy the stock fitting and ferrel, get a piece of steel line and make a short line I can hook a rubber fuel line up to. Most of the 3/8 fine thread pipe fittings Ive seen, you had to dril and retap the threads to make them fit, but, there may be something out there that will fit right in. Chad

ok thanks chad I going to drill the jet today. Did you mean .005 larger than stock hole or 5 sizes. Small bit sets don't go .001 by .001. they jump a little at a time. thanks again

5 bit sizes. go 3 if your leary then work your way up. Id bet its in the area of .050 or .055 stock, so think of jumping up to maybe a .075 diameter bit, try it out, and if you need more, go 1 more bigger, remember wht I told ya, if you drill the main jet and still cannot get it to run rich, you may need to drill the lower 2 holes of the stem. You can have a huge main jet, bu if it dont go thru the stem, you have to open the stem up to let more fuel flow thru it. Take the time and really blow the bowl out with air,,, shavings can get anyhwere and dirt can hide in places never seen. Chad
