Are any of you involved with the Decalb County fair in IL. We provide the scales for the semi pull on thurs. after labor day and were wondering if they have a antique pull sometime during the fair. Shaggy, isn't this just north of your place?

Will you have em at Goshen this year? Bout every corner in the pits, ya find a nice set of scales. All the machines that come in there for that pull,,, reminds me of driving across the scales out on the road, and DOT running everybody thru, lines, and lots of trucks. Need more Semi trucks at the pulls. Warsaws pull, yeah its OK, but the track is bad on the tires! Used to be a big truck pull in every direction 15 years ago,,, Been thinking of finding a "TOTOR" class. Chad

Yes on the scales at Goshen. I'll also be announcing the PPL national pull. On fri-sat I will be at Ionia Mi. for their NTPA semi-tractor pull.
Goshen would be a good pull to go to for Shaggy as he could pull in the morning then watch the national pullers in the afternoon and eve.
Elkart Co fair [Goshen] is the largest county fair in Ind. BTW,I just got a card from the Hook mag. staff and they will have a article in the july issue covering our local banquet and end of the year points champions. Broadbeck Seeds will once again be sponsoring the awards in 2007

Yeah, Shaggy, bring ear plugs! 3500-7500# farm stock and modified classes. Farm stock classes have uncut tires, hitch specs are 28 inches from the center of the rear axle, 18 inches high. Suitcase weights allowed so you can put some weight in some needed places. Front weight brackets on farm stocks cannot exceed 24 inches from the front casting. 3 mph, low gear only. Modified classes are 4 mph, 15.5X38 max any cut allowed on tire, 18 inches from center of the rear axle, 20 inches high hitch specs, wheelie bars are manditiory, kill switch required. 10% rpm rule, any gear. Get there early, pits fill up quick when the ATPA starts rolling in. Antique pull starts at 7 am I belive. Its always held on the last thursday of July. Chad

Is the C cast hubs the same bolt pattern as the H cast hub,,, where the driving lugs hold the rim?? I got a set of 36 inch rims, on H cast hubs, they used angle iron welded to the rim to adapt,,, has 13X36 tires, (shot) 10 wide inch rim at least though. 12" wide possibly. not rusted out though. Whats the lightest class they? What kind of rules or is the a place I can look them up? Right now my B (Farmall) fits the NATPA 3250A rules but I don't have cut tires.

Its only about 20 miles give or take a little. They have a engine club show there the last weekend of June and that is one of the pulls I can get into but there is no set weight class. But me and a few others are pretty close in weight.
