Hey sonny I wanna send my M cam out to you to get ground, I sent you guys 2 emails but you must not have gotten them. My PC has been givin me problems so it's prolly my problem. But what all info do you need? It's an M block(C-248) with 4 1/8" firecraters, stock stroke, 8574 gas head. Lookin to run between about 1700-2000 RPMs depending on track. I'll be pullin new 13.6's F&R. I need to know where to send it and what other info you will need. Thanks

regrinding a cam will eliminate 60 years of wear. Grind the cam to match the engine. Stock engine will benefit from a grind with more lift but not much if any more duration. as the engine gets bigger the cam grind can be more agressive.

I'm not building an all out pulling tractor, I don't have the money to build an all out pulling tractor. In fact if there wasn't a 1" wide by 1/8" deep groove in the #2 sleeve due to a broken ring which has been like that for over 15yrs it would still be farming/pulling. Oh yeah don't forget the crank was wiped, the machine shop had to go 20 on the mains and 30 on the rods and I was still pulling it competitively. So I will say Thanks for voicing your opinion but unless your buying me a stroker crank I'm not putting one in. Maybe some day when I have money that has no better place to be I'll build a hot tractor until then I will pull for FUN and and I suggest others try pulling for FUN. I know thats a swear word on this forum

Never said that but he says I'm wasting money if I don't stroke it, we use all of our tractors on the farm and I am not going to use a stroked M on the farm. Since I had to rebuild the entire engine I thought I'd make it work a little better to play. I don't pull in money pulls or nothing like that just like to have a little fun in the spare time. Thats it, I think it's awesome that you guys build over 500ci M's with 18.4x38's. I'd love to have one of them but I don't nor do I have the time and money to build one.
