DOES ANYONE KNOW IF A KIT IS MADE TO PUT A V8 IN A FARMALL M, IF SO HOW CAN I GET A HOLD OF THEM, AND WITH THIS CONVERSION IS THE TRACTOR STILL USEABLE OR IS IT JUST FOR PULLING.

I have not seen a "kit" to put a V8 in an M, but I have put one in an M and 560 Farmall, Cockshutt 570 and a 3010 JD. Use the flwheel and clutch for the V8. You will have to lengthen your input shaft and your throw out bearing tube. Send me an email if I can help.
As far as what you can do with it afterwards, that all depends on how good of an engine you put in it. Keep in mind that the original engine turned 1600 rpms and the V8 will turn 4, 5, 6, 7000 RPMs, so, you transmission will be way faster.
