I am looking at buying a trailor for hauling my JD A. It is a road warrior, dual axle, 16 ft (14FT flat and 2ft dove)
has electric brakes, spare tire, about 1000 miles on it, just about two years old.
Fenders do not come off.
What is a fair price to give for it?
Thinking that they are 3500 lb axles?

Any feed back is welcome

I paid $1800 new delivered to me in 2000. Sounds alot like mine. I too would like to have a goose neck someday. Ive drug my trailer alot of miles and never had a problem. Follows good pulls good.

Well, if the trailer weighs 2000# and the capacity is 7000#, that leaves you at 5000# available (plus whatever tongue weight you factor in). Plan on pulling more than the 5000# class?

a bumper pull is fine if you only pull local or only pull a couple times a year. But if you run around every weekend like most of us usually do buy the goose neck.

if it is a bumber hitch run away fast. you will be much happeir with a gooseneck, they pull better and do not put all of the tongue weight on the back of the towing vehicle.
