MW piston/ring question

I wondered if some of you pullers using M&Ws could help me out. I'm using a set in my JD60 that didn't come with any ring diagrams. In the ring packet, it contained:
1 oil ring.
1 underlying regulator for the oil ring
3 black compression rings
1 grey coated compression ring
1 underlying spring to fit a compression ring ringland

My question is, where does this one thin spring go, it must go under one of the compression rings, right? Which one, and maybe why? And the grey colored compression ring...on the top? I really appreciate any help anybody can offer.

Just to clarify, the "spring" I'm talking about is just a thin wavy piece of steel that looks like it goes into the ringland.

That sounds like the hump spring that goes behind the oil ring.

It's just like it, only the oil ring is thicker, the compression rings are thinner, it's thin to fit behind a compression ring.


Any ideas?
