wondering if you could answer a question for me. i have a m s/n 101699 what is the biggest piston i can put in it without boring it while still keeping the stock head

1945 model,,,, 4 inch with sleeves, and 4.125 with no sleeves. 4.125, you will need rings to fill in the counter bore in the block for the sleeve flange to use a 450 head gasket. ChadS

CHAD IM SORRY I DIDNT PUT ENOUGH DETAILS, WHAT I MENT TO SAY WAS, HOW BIG OF A DOME PISTON CAN I INSTALL WILE KEEPING STOCK BORE AND STOCK HEAD, DO U NOW THE PART # OR WHERE I CAN GET THEM. THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE A PULLING TRACTOR JUST WANT A LITTLE MORE POWER

8060/8574 heads can take a pretty large domed piston. I have a used set of high alt firecraters out of a M, that are over 1/2 tall dome,,, Seen a set of M&W"s that had a 3/4 inch dome on em,, those were meant for kerosine heads. Im not sure if "Volbrachs" still have that style piston in stock, but I bet he can get them. I have the part numbers off the pistons I have to give you,, (check back tommorrow) Ill post Volbrachs number too. His number is also in the Red Power magazine as well. Chad
