Performance governor and camshaft

I am just getting into pulling and am building a farmall 350 engine for my farmall H. I have been thinking about sending my camshaft and governor to Lemmons Tractor Service for reworking. Am I wasting my money to do this on a basically stock 350 engine? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Yea they might take awhiel. They do a super job at what they do and want everything right. A friend of mine has a tractor built by them i drove it once and that governor kicks in really quick.

We have the M&W governor in our Super H and it really makes that tractor spunky, when you pull back on that throttle she really moves. I think getting the gov. worked is good. Also depends on what type of pulling, I think its more important to have a spunky governor with a dead weight stone boat beacuse of the sudden load. With a transfer slead the gov. has more time to respond to the load.
