thanks for the help on the zenith carb.I am in the process of plugging off the accelerator pump. if you meant the float would be crushed in on the sides you were right. i can take the carb with the bowl off, hook up the fuel line, turn the carb upside down, and turn on the pump and the needle seats up perfectly. turn it over with the bowl on it and the fuel poors out. now, where can i get a float the cheapest and can i buy just a float? it is good to know that there are some people on this board that are still willing to help out the other pullers.
