Anyone using the 9L or 13.5L for pulling? How do the 4 valve heads flow?

I don't know of anyone pulling one of the 9.0L's yet.. There's a few guys looking for some blocks.. but they are a little hard to come by right now.. (at least for a reasonable price.) Its going to take a little work to get the pump mounted... Just guessing but you might not see the 9.0L head on it if its pulling.. (I do know there's at least one engine out pulling that has 9.0L parts in it... but not using the 9.0L block..) I think the 9.0L block is going to make a great pulling engine once they get the details worked out.. Its got a lot going for it.. roller lifter.. more room for bigger liners, notched cam, More cam bearings, bigger rod journals and a few other little things...

I don't think I've ever seen anyone trying to use the late model Deere Big Block engine for pulling.. Especially the 13.5.. as its not out for AG Applications yet... (not until the new 4WD is out.) JDGnut
