Just bore it to take 4 5/8 sleeves, use flat-top pistons, 30-series A21241 LP heads, a little cam work, make a custom intake and you'll be surprised even leaving the stroke stock. Sure, the 70-series heads would even be nicer, but try finding them without having to borrow money. Stroking one and borrowing money go hand in hand as well for po' folks like me. A stroked crank and 70-series heads are on my "wish" list. I don't think I want a bigger bore than 4 5/8 with the power I'm getting now. Of course that will change if I ever get the heads and crank. Tractor pullers never get satisfied it seems. We need just a little more.

gas I assume, use a 30 series block, better heads and the even better 870 heads will bolt on. m farmall rods will work in the 7" stroke range, 4.5 to or 5.25" pistons and a Berry cam
