Switched to that tire from some road wore goodyears. Not much difference till I started dropping air pressure. The less I ran the better I do with those stiff old buggers. The 100 h.p. UB smokes the competition regularly now if I have the weights set right. They just grab everything. They are HEAVY though. Wish I had a few more sizes to experiment with!

I have a set of cut 15.5 s for sale. I think they work better with heavier tractors like 5000 up.

well i have the same tires on my 730D they suck for that size tractor i always seem to find the bigger tractor tires holes with them... and with a 100 hp 730 and cant even put it to the floor... i switched out and got 16.9 x 38... much better i know it sounds crazy but the tractor pulled 299 feet on a 250 foot track closest person to me was 188...

I had a un-cut set (same size) and hated them. They had a lot of bar and did not seem to hook up on the loose tracks we were pulling on. Having said that, I would be willing to bet on a good track with a good cut they would be hard to beat.

Tcoop, a Deep Tread is one of the best pulling tires you can get, assuming you have the right cut on it. The only drawback to them is weight. They are very heavy for their size. A six ply DT will weigh more than most eight ply tires of the same size. If weight is not an issue they are a very good choice. Even a worn out looking DT can be cut and made into a very nice tire. Hope this helps. Mike

Any idea what a set of road worn 18.4-34 deep treads are worth? I am switching classes and need lighter tires, these things were very hard to spin.

up here in pennsylvania where there is hard clay the onlything better than a firestone is a b.f. goodrich but because of the price difference everyone pulls with the firestones in my opinion they are the best for the money

I use a set of them. They hook up really well on tacky tracks for me. The tractor i have them on is about 90hp and they pull very good.
