He asked about pistons, not a whole motor. Take the sleeves out and bore the block to 4.250. It is 4.125 with the sleeves out. You can use a super M, 400, or 450 block and bore to 4.310, which is a 454 .060 over.

Yea put that 454 in that M. Put 18.4-38 cuts on it and you will have a lot more fun. I have a Super M with a 460 big block in it. I can hit about 22 mph.

Dont waste a good M OR a 454.Put the 454 ni a Chevelle and laeve the sled alone. For apulling tractor use a 427 truck piston, stroke itan inch or so and make up the difference in rod length. I f you have lots of money send the mptor to Marlatt or Baker and blow those green tractros in the weeds.Sorry about the lousy typing, spelling.
