Why do some people insist that cheating isn't really cheating as long as nobody can prove it? I like to pull farm stock but not against 70 HP M Farmalls or A JDs. Am I just whining or is this a legitamate problem at most pulls?

First off you have to have a pulling club that has rules, before you can define cheating. I doubt you'll find many pullers who in all honestly pull stock, so just get used to it, and make the best of the equiptment you have to work with and take your spankings with a smile on your face just like the rest of us poor boys. If you don't like getting beat than cheat, otherwise have fun, and enjoy your evenings out with the fella's and your family all at once. That's what I've done. Greg H.

AFTER EACH PULL A TRACTOR GOES TO A CHECK AREA WHERE THE TOP PLACES WILL BE DYNOED. THE PULLER GETS OFF THE TRACTOR AND TOUCHES NOTHING, IF HE DOES HE IS DISQUALIFIED. SOUNDS LIKE FUN DOESN'T IT.

The question should be which came first pulling or cheating?

Some people have to cheat to win. I think it's just fun to get together and have fun.Seems people have to push the rules so they can try to win. In my club we just pull for points and at the end of the year the one with the most points gets a trophy. Still they find ways to cheat, guess thats why we have a rules commitee.

Hi Tom: Yes commitees help say which members will win, and they may favor their buddies! My 2 cents. Bob

Abosolutely correct. If you want to keep it fair....have a speed limit. After you have enough power to set off the horn it really doesn't matter how much more you have. Then have open classes too, so if you want to spend alot and go fast.. go for it.

no to make thing,s fair you must have tear down rules and en-force them, just like they do in any other motor sport.then wen your caught cheating you go home.514 cubic inch M,s for trophys?800 inch molines, 300 inch H,s and only god noes what the deere herd has?the only way to move the sport ahead is clean it up---we are the only ones that can,t interest sponsers , because it needs to be run more profesinally.
