I pull a ford 9000 stock. I here many people tell me I can advance my timming slightly to get more power. I run at stock 23 tdc now and was told I could go to 27 degrees without major problems (blown head gaskets ect.) Some hot farm fords are running 30-32 with fuel and turbo mods, but they push the limits.I have 150hp and would like 200hp. any advice?

Carefully, VERY Carefully....!!! Sometimes there is a little you can get away with, but fuel Octane has a LOT to do with getting away with it... IF it rattles any at all, you better shut it down immediatly Bearings and rings can't take even a little abuse from pre-ignition.. Can you run any more RPM..?? That could be an answer for you... FWIW....!! Ron.
