reduction gear part #

Want to change the reduction gear on a 44A to late model A. What is the part # of the gear that I need?
Are they all the same the? i have a gear that shows a3695r. Is that correct? Could somebody please post the correct Part # that i need.

jdjack, for the belt pulley you need gear A4030R and that can be pressed onto the belt pulley you have on your 44A or use the complete clutch set up of the late JDA. The first reduction gear you need is AA5442R. That will slow your tractor down about 26% Good Luck JDMark

You have the right gear for the late A. The p.n. A3695R is actually the casting # of the spider.Part # of the assembly is AA5442R listed for A tractors 657393-up. The A12R spider & gear was used on earlier A's.
