I am currently in the process of rebuilding my family's '36 'A' over the years of hard use my dad put aluminum high comp pistons in it,.045..wondering if there is a possibility of finding cast ones that are not shot to replace them with ? or just go with the aluminum. he had added power steering ,live hyd, elec start, and a loader most of its working life,,I am removing all of that ,tryin to get it as close to original as possible..except for the steel wheel..it will remain on rubber i think..any way i have all the parts he saved from the change over..just thinking about putting cast back in as far as pistons ..maybe its no big deal?
